Inflasi, pengangguran, konsumsi dan FDI di negara Turki saling berkaitan?

Abstract

Keterkaitan antar variabel inflasi, pengangguran, konsumsi dan FDI di negara Turki bisa membawa dampak pada perekonomian, dampak tersebut bisa positif dan negative tergantung hasil korelasi antar variabel. Artikel ini membahas mengenai keterkaitan keempat variabel tersebut dalam jangka pendek serta jangka panjang dengan rentang tahun 2002 sampai dengan 2021. Peneliti menggunakan uji Johansson’s Cointegration Test untuk menelisik apakah terdapat korelasi antar variabel dalam jangka Panjang. Lalu diteliti lebih lanjut menggunakan Vector Error Correction Model. Dalam hasil tersebut terdapat hubungan bahwa FDI dan pengangguran memiliki hubungan yang signifikan positif. Sehingga FDI tidak bisa menurunkan tingkat pengangguran, sebab jika FDI mengalami kenaikan maka pengangguran juga akan meningkat. Dalam uji Granger Causality hanya beberapa variabel yang memiliki hubungan sebab akibat yaitu Consumption dan FDI, Consumption dan Unemployment dan terakhir adalah Unemployment dan Inflasi.
