Sikepan Hamlet in Mendut Village has significant potential to be developed as a tourism village focused on ecotourism and agricultural training. To enhance its attractiveness and environmental sustainability, Universitas Tidar’s Community Service Program (KKN) initiated the planting of 500 flowering and fruit tree seedlings, including flamboyant, tabebuia, red shoots, soursop, and guava trees. This program aims to beautify the tourist area, raise public awareness of the importance of reforestation, and create economic opportunities through fruit harvests. The implementation method includes coordination with stakeholders, land preparation, community training, and collective seedling planting. The expected outcomes of this program include improved environmental aesthetics, increased tourist attraction, and the development of agro-tourism potential that can contribute to the village’s economy. Additionally, active community participation in plant maintenance is expected to support the sustainability of this ecologically-based tourism village. Through this program, Sikepan Hamlet has the potential to grow into a tourism destination that not only showcases natural beauty but also provides economic and educational benefits.
