This research aims to determine the effectiveness of village funds for economic development and infrastructure development in East Mimika District. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method. The data used are qualitative data and quantitative data, which were collected using observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. To measure the effectiveness of village funds for rural economic and infrastructure development in the East Mimika District, an effectiveness analysis tool was used, developed according to the objectives of this research. The results of this research show that the effectiveness of village funds for rural economic and infrastructure development in the East Mimika District in terms of indicators of timeliness, accuracy of cost calculations, accuracy in determining goals and accuracy of targets is very effective.
