The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of evaluation of the implementation of special autonomy in the field of community economic empowerment in community welfare. The data collection techniques used to obtain data in this study were interviews, questionnaires, observations and documentation. The analysis used in this study was using a presentation of improving welfare. The result of this study is that the evaluation of the implementation of special autonomy in the field of community economic empowerment in terms of education, health, income and shelter of indigenous Papuans in Mimika Regency has been carried out well and high achievements although it has not been achieved as a whole.
